**PLEASE KEEP SPECIMENS ON ICE OR IN FREEZER**

Ice specimen ASAP

**STANK MOUNT SURCHARGE**

Any specimen dropped off/picked up that has not been kept cool and has begun to decay/rot is subject to an EXTRA CHARGE.

Depending on the temperature outside (and where you store the animal), bacteria can set in rather quickly. It's important to keep your game cool and dry.

You can bag your game & put in a cooler with ice outside of the bag to preserve it until you drop it off, ESPECIALLY in warmer months, whether you want a shoulder mount or European mount. It is important to keep your game cold as bacteria and decay can occur quickly.  Ice and water remain OUTSIDE of the bagged hide/mount. Never allow ice or water to come into direct contact with the hide while storing.

If it comes to us decomposed or smelling foul/rotten,

MIN $50 additional charge is required if we accept it.

Aside from the bad rotting odor, there are risks of infestation and exposure to disease when we handle the animal. It's also much more difficult to remove the cape and other matter once the animal has begun to rot, meaning more time must be spent on it. The odor can also seep into the bone which can be difficult to remove.

AT OUR DISCRETION..

1) We reserve the right to deny any game that is brought in and has apparent signs of deterioration due to not being stored properly.

2) IF THERE IS SIGNIFICANT ROT THAT WE DISCOVER UPON PROCESSING, SURCHARGE APPLIES AND A REPLICA SKULL WILL BE USED INSTEAD FOR OUR SAFETY.

DISEASE AND INFECTION ARE AT RISK

PRICING
Contact for pricing on mounts/hide tanning

*Velvet Antlers and Antler Repair quoted upon request.

Significant repairs (ie, major stitching req'd due to improper caping/missing hide) incur an additional charge. There are videos online showing how to cape. Never cut within the brisket area.

RECONDITIONING/REPAIRS
Reconditioned work is completed at owner's/customer's risk as we do not know the condition of older work or work from other taxidermists. We handle ALL work with care. However, some older mounts can have their quality compromised due to age and deterioration.

COMPLETION TIMES
All estimated completion times are ESTIMATES. No job is the same, and some require extra work due to delays in delivery of supplies, cape damage, improper caping, and other factors. However, we do work hard to complete work within the estimated timeframe provided when you drop off your specimen and generally stay within that range. We appreciate your patience.

ADDITIONAL POLICIES
This is a highlight of our policies. Please read the intake document you receive at time of drop off for more information.
